The Black Eagle Racing Team has been involved in the racing world for years
The Black Eagle Racing Team
After years of involvement in the racing world, the Kays formed their team in 2008. Although they raced both Gilera and MV bikes, they needed a common name for the race entry forms. As lifelong owners of birds of prey, they chose to name the team after Aquila verreauxii, the Black Eagle. In Dave's words, "The greatest eagle is on the greatest racing grand prix bikes"
Maintenance of Grand Prix bikes is very expensive, so the team's outings are limited to about 5 races a year, in England, Scotland, Belgium and the Isle of Man. They have achieved some very significant successes, and are the current holders of the course record for the fastest MV Classic lap at the IOM TT races.

"Well, another one over. Of the three MVs there, mine was the only one without any problems, all due to Kay preparation. Next event is Donington, followed by Brackley Festival of Motorcycling. Thanks for the great engine building... See you around."
